Quartz Hill Records announced the addition of soulful country-pop duo 2 Lane Summer to its artist roster on January 9, 2025.

2-lane summerconsisting of Joe Hanson of Naperville, Illinois, and Chris Ray of Mississippi, has already amassed a strong following, garnering more than five million streams for the duo’s meaningful original songs written to “hit people at the heart.” With romantic country covers and clever mashup medleys, 2 Lane Summer gained over 300,000 followers on social media last year alone.

Last month, 2 Lane Summer joined acclaimed country trio Chapel Hart for five dates on the Hartfelt Family Christmas Tour. Hanson has previously toured with Brantley Gilbert, Randy Houser, Russell Dickerson and Lindsay Ell.

“The first thing I noticed about 2 Lane Summer was the power and feeling in their vocal harmonies,” says Brown Sellers Brown partner Benny Brown. “The sound reminds me of the blood harmonies that you normally only find in brothers. Fans get their first taste of 2 Lane Summer’s new music today with the global release of “Eyes That Ain’t Yours (Wedding Version),” a piano-accompanied reimagining of the duo’s most streamed song to date. Produced by Ash Bowers, the positive, everyday love song was written by Hanson and Ray along with Dustin James and John Marlin.

“It’s a song for the women in our lives who sometimes don’t realize how beautiful they are,” Hanson explains. “But they could, if only they could see themselves through someone else’s eyes.”
