Chase’s Bradley Walsh left stunned as he lashes out at ‘disastrous’ players | Television & Radio | Showbiz and television

Chase host Bradley Walsh praised his team for the “disastrous” performance.

The 64-year-old presenter welcomed four new contestants who took on Darragh Ennis in the hope of winning some cash.

The first contestant to take on Darragh was Ian, an actor from London. The 65-year-old only answered two questions correctly in Cash Builder, meaning he left the table with £2,000.

The pursuer tried to tempt Ian with a low offer of £200 and a high offer of £20,000, but decided to stick with his original offer.

And this seemed to be the wrong decision as he was caught by Darragh before he could return to his team.

Next up was Dianne, who only answered one question correctly in the Cash Builder. Realizing that the £1,000 was the worst option of all, the 32-year-old took a risk and gambled for the high offer of £25,000.

But the same pattern occurred and the civil engineer was caught by Darragh.

Hoping to make a change was Ruth, a 55-year-old cycling instructor. She achieved the highest Cash Builder score of the day so far by answering three questions correctly.

Although Jason advised her to take the £1,000, Ruth decided to play for £3,000.

Shortly before Ruth was caught by Darragh, Bradley recognized the seriousness of the situation when he said: “This is truly disastrous for my team.”

29-year-old Jason took his place in fourth place. The Bristol-born doctor answered five questions correctly in Cash Builder.

But he couldn’t resist when Darragh offered him a stunning £100,000 to take him one step closer. Unfortunately for Jason, Darragh showed no mercy and captured him before he could get back.

Since all participants were outside, they were allowed to bring one person with them for the final chase. The team selected Jason and he independently answered 12 questions correctly.

But it was no match for The Menace, who caught him with 49 seconds left.

At the end of the show, Darragh pointed out the importance of considering the low offer and predicted that if Jason’s teammates had made it to the final chase, he could have been beaten.
