With cover story for the PC hits 2025, test for Indiana Jones and the Great Circle and much more

First of all, the most important thing: The entire editorial team wishes you a happy new year. On the one hand, in the current issue we are of course looking at the future, because with the start of the year we are expecting twelve exciting months full of high-class releases – we are summarizing the most important of them in our big hit preview this year. From Assassin’s Creed: Shadows and Anno 117 to Civilization 7 and Doom: The Dark Ages to Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 and Gothic Remake – there should be something for every gaming taste in the coming year.

We’re also specifically taking a look at two titles in our current section – because we were recently able to play them in great detail. Felix was able to let off some steam in Obsidian’s new role-playing game Avowed, while Viktor was able to try his hand at directing in Two Point Museum. You can see what the two of them experienced in their previews.

We also have another real blockbuster in the test part, because with Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Bethesda and MachineGames delivered another late game highlight at the beginning of December. Of course, we also accompanied the most famous archaeologist in the world on his new adventure and will tell you what to expect.

Last but not least, we’ll of course look back at the past twelve months and, like every year, choose what we think are the best PC games of the year. And this much can already be revealed: There were one or two surprises when voting for our top 10…
