Teeny Tiny Town: City-building puzzle game gets new diorama mode

We’ll have a first look at Teeny Tiny Town as early as 2023 (App Store link), which was newly released in the App Store at the time, and was able to recommend that you download the puzzle game. Colleague Fabian was completely thrilled with the game after installing it, so much so that Teeny Tiny Town was responsible for almost 20 percent of his iPhone battery consumption in 24 hours.

Before we get to the current update, we would like to briefly explain Teeny Tiny Town again. In Teeny Tiny Town you create your own little town and always have to combine three of the same objects with each other. Three bushes make a fir tree, three fir trees make a sawmill and three sawmills make wood. A rustic hut is then created from three wooden fields. This is followed by a comfortable house, a residential building and a larger residential building. It goes on like this until you have created a great little town.

At the end of December last year, the development team at Short Circuit Studio introduced a new diorama mode for Teeny Tiny Town, which was further improved with further small updates to create more options for expressing your creativity in the small city-building puzzle .

Dioramas to admire and collect

The new diorama mode lets players visualize their own small town in a more dynamic way, as trees and houses come to life in a new view with each level completed. The dioramas created in this way can not only be admired but also collected.

With recent updates to Teeny Tiny Town, diorama mode allows you to see how successfully completed levels and their progress help gradually expand the 3×3 grid to create a miniature diorama. The PocketGamer team calls the innovation “a charming new way to sit back, relax and enjoy the fruits of your labor.”

Teeny Tiny Town including the diorama mode can be downloaded free of charge from the German App Store on iPhones and iPads and requires around 323 MB of free storage space in addition to iOS/iPadOS 13.0 or newer to install. Contrary to the App Store description, the application can also be used in German and is financed through in-app purchases for additional designs, consumables and extras. A final hands-on video on YouTube shows you the game in detail.
