Because a driver drove through the intersection on a red light, there was an accident near Schwerin with one seriously injured person. On Friday around 3 p.m., a car drove through the traffic light intersection at Raben Steinfeld despite the red light and collided with an oncoming left-turner. The 50-year-old driver of the turning car suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries as a result of the collision. There was material damage estimated at 40,000 euros. The road in the direction of Schwerin was completely closed for several hours during the rescue and cleaning work.
