Indiana Grown: Small-Town Produce Helps Alleviate Food Insecurity – Indianapolis News | Indiana Weather | Indiana traffic

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Every Saturday, WISH-TV features a local business along with our partners at Indiana Grown.

This week, SMall Town Produce owner Thomas Loudermilk joined Daybreak to share how he provides Hoosiers with fresh, locally grown produce at his stand near Greenwood Park Mall.

Loudermilk is a third-generation farmer. His father raised him to grow fruits and vegetables, livestock and hay. He started his farm in response to a desire to help his community and sought to help with food insecurity.

A portion of the products made at Small Town Produce are donated to organizations around Indy

At Small Town Produce you will find: zucchini, squash, peppers, bok choy, radishes and a variety of other fruits and vegetables. Starting in 2025, SMall Town Produce will offer farm-fresh, free-range eggs and processed whole chickens.

Loudermilk’s plans are to expand the business into a permanent facility to better serve the community.
