Police evacuate woman with two children from border town in Sumy region

Police officers have evacuated a mother and her two sons from a frontline village in the Sumy region that is under constant fire from Russian troops.

This is according to the National Police of Ukrainereports Ukrinform.

A local police officer and youth police officers, with the support of the village chief, organized a safe escape route for the family and carefully assessed the possible danger. The family is now in a safer place.

As Ukrinform reported, the special police unit “White Angel” evacuated the last resident from a front-line village in the Sumy region that was under heavy fire from Russian forces.
