“It’s definitely important to have these moments”

The last time Jefferson played in the playoffs was in the 2022 season when his Vikings hosted the New York Giants and lost 31-24. Jefferson recorded seven catches for 47 yards. While it wasn’t Jefferson’s typical performance, he knows he’ll have to deliver a standout performance in Monday’s game against the Rams to get Minnesota into the divisional round.

Minnesota had a chance to clinch the NFC’s No. 1 seed in the final week of the season, but a loss to the Detroit Lions starts the Vikings’ playoff journey. With wildfires raging in the Los Angeles area, there will be a wild card game on Monday takes place at State Farm Stadium in Arizona.

On Friday, Jefferson was unanimously selected to the 2024 NFL All-Pro Team. His former LSU teammate and Cincinnati Bengals WR Yes’Marr Chase was also a unanimous decision.

“I haven’t contacted him yet. “I’m definitely grateful for where we come from and what we’ve accomplished so far in our careers,” Jefferson said. “I’m definitely proud of him for who he is triple crown winnerand being an All-Pro is definitely special.

“That we were on the same team in college and now we’re two All-Pros, first-team All-Pros at that. So it’s definitely a special bond that we have and it’s crazy that we played next to each other on this.”

Jefferson has the opportunity to continue his All-Pro campaign against the host Rams on Monday at 8 p.m. ET.
