The Hamburg Towers have achieved another success in the fight for a place in the play-ins of the Basketball Bundesliga. Coach Benka Barloschky’s team beat Baskets Bonn 91:84 (39:43) in front of 3,400 fans in the sold-out Inselpark Arena on Friday evening and celebrated their sixth victory in the 14th game. Hamburg’s best thrower was Brae Ivey, who scored 17 points. The Towers are now in twelfth place.
