After a practice on Wednesday, Nix assured the media that he wasn’t worried about being the underdog in his upcoming Wild Card game.

“The advantage of being an underdog is playing loosely. “In a way, you have nothing to lose,” Nix said. “Nobody puts that much pressure on you, so you can go out there and do your best because nobody expects you to do well anyway.”

Nix continued.

“It’s a cliché and it sounds cheesy, but most people literally didn’t expect us to be here, so we might as well just keep not worrying about these things. (We have to) do what we can and only worry about ourselves. “If we did that this year, we had good success, but it definitely won’t be easy,” Nix said.

The Broncos take on the Bills at 10 a.m. PT on Sunday at Highmark Stadium.
