Werner has been on loan to Spurs from RB Leipzig since January 2024. The loan is dated until the end of June 2025, with the Londoners having a purchase option worth a rumored 15 million euros.

Werner doesn’t have the easiest time under Tottenham coach Ange Postecoglou. The 28-year-old has played 25 competitive games so far this season, but has only been in Spurs’ starting line-up nine times. The former Bundesliga attacker has only managed a goal this season in the League Cup.

Krösche confirmed interest in Marmoush

Instead of moving to Frankfurt, Werner Bald could play in the same league as Marmoush. Namely in the Premier League. How quickly Eintracht and Manchester City could come to an agreement remains to be seen. For the Hessian Bundesliga game at FC St Pauli (Saturday, 3:30 p.m.) the 25-year-old is definitely scheduled.

Eintracht’s sports director Markus Krösche confirmed before kick-off Heaven: “A club contacted us and expressed interest.”
