The Magic are known as a strong, physical team, so it took everything Milwaukee had to get the win. After the game, Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo spoke about the game and how the Bucks had to get the win over Orlando.

“Great win. “We absolutely needed this win,” Antetokounmpo said. “It is of course a victory that counts for two. When they played a team that played hard for 48 minutes, they had the most comeback wins in the NBA. Recently they were back at 22 with six minutes to go, or something like that, something crazy. You know we have to come to the game, you have to have the attitude you need to play 48 minutes, it’s going to be a very, very physical game. They play very, very big.”

Antetokounmpo understands that the Magic could be a potential playoff team and that a win over them gives confidence. The team had to play a complete game to beat Orlando, and they proved to themselves that they could do it.

Even forward Khris Middleton commented on the Magic. Orlando has earned great respect throughout the league for his style of play.

“Definitely a strong team. They beat them at the start of the season but they are a great team. “They got one of their stars back at home for the second night in a row, so it was a great night to get a win,” Middleton said of the win in Orlando. “Especially on the way to New York. You always want to get the first one out there, get the first one done and now we have to get the second one.”

Milwaukee is now in fourth place in the Eastern Conference standings with a record of 20-16. If the season ended now, they would face the Magic in the first round of the playoffs.

This win over the Magic was a good step for this Bucks team and they will look to continue to improve in the future.
