Cheltenham Town 1-0 Chesterfield – BBC Sport

Cheltenham Town 1-0 Chesterfield – BBC Sport

Arkell Jude-Boyd’s stop time gate sealed a dramatic win of the second division for Cheltenham at home in Chesterfield.

Both sides struggled to get something remarkable before half-time, and Max Thompson had to touch Ethon Archer’s Looping header from Jude-Boyds Kreuz late in half of the crossbar.

Robin’s defender Sam Stubbs had previously blocked himself from Michael Olakigbe, who had cut from right in the 34th minute.

Stubbs led a free kick from Jordan Thomas into the second half for five minutes.

At the other end, Jack Sparkes’ driven cross was exceeded by Tom Naylor – shortly after the hour.

The efforts of Armando Dobra were distracted into the side network three minutes later, and the lively Olakigbe only rolled the ball away from the right post when Chesterfield broke out all the more likely.

Archer shot a lot of players for Cheltenham in the 81st minute, while Dylan Duffy was denied by Joe Day in the 90th minute.

A patient situation probably looked like, but after Thomas’ shot was parried, Jude-Boyd followed in the second minute of the additional time to seal the points and extend their unbeaten run to three games.
