The style of men rises in 2025: meet the demanding slouch

SChlumpy is outside in 2025. When it comes to men’s fashion, there is a development – the unsurpassed leisure clothes that have been a fallback for years is the workplace. In general, you are ready to deduct these Dowdy Duds, and in the words of the experts you “increase” your style quotient.

The fashion director of Bloomingdale, David Thielebeule says: “The modern man accepts a more demanding approach to dress up, but with a bad turn,” he notes, calling oversized silhouettes and still relaxed atmosphere. “He predicts” a cool, nostalgic edge “when it comes to casual clothing” with iconic pieces such as university jackets, rugby shirts, oxford shirts and retro running shoes.

Spring 2025 is finally the year in which men will take colorful prints and color in general.

Emily Saljooki, the owner of the men’s clothing color in the contemporary cloding store in Roslyn, says that they move away from Super -Casual men’s clothing. “Men definitely dress up more,” she says. Likewise, the buyer Allison Schoenfeld at DK Brothers by Madison’s niche in Stony Brook says that she sees tailor -made men’s clothing with an “neat/sporty edge”, wearing customers, searching the work clothes.

Afshin Haghani, who has upscale boutique -loop men in Manhasset, denotes the new, crisp look “Nouveau Preppy” with a “Mediterranean feeling”.

The motivation? Bruce Levitt, the owner of the shop of Mur-Lee Men’s and Boy in Lynbrook, explains: “Men get back to the office. They have a competition out there. They have to look good.”

Haghani gives women who even reduce the glamor for this more processed movement themselves this year. “They want their partners, friends or husbands to be synchronous,” he says. “They bring them in and say: ‘Please do something with him.'”

We actually shift from Super Casual. Men definitely dress up more.

Levitt feels the same. “Sometimes my wife looks at my outfit and says: ‘You don’t wear it for dinner, right?” And there is an additional advantage, he claims. “I think that I usually get a better table when I get a little better to go to dinner – no suit or anything.”

How can you improve your style at home? Carlos Cook, the model of the month of Long Island Models, an agency based in Long Beach, illustrates some of the freshest styles of the season to try out some of the smartest looks with loop men and to enforce other retailers on new ones.

Here are some top male trends:

Neutral area

“Neutral are an important trend for the season,” says Haghani. “You will find shadows in everything, from pale stone to creamy beige to white and men wear it from head to toe.”

In the ditches

The coolest new top for boys is the trench coat and longer coats (some even double letters), which can even improve and lend the most fundamental look pizza. “It’s very European,” says Levitt. “And it becomes part of the entire outfit.”

Le Sport

“It’s all about increased active clothing,” explains Bloomingdales Thielebeul and points to high-tech fabrics that both do the job and look good on the street. Together with this, you will find these classic nostalgia pieces that are about sport, think of rugby, stripes and cool retro sneaks.

Traditionally, an autumn skin food is a strong entry into spring. “We see plaid on all colors such as neutral or steamed pastels,” says Schönfeld about DK Brothers from Madison’s niche. “Men are definitely not afraid of color,” says Saljooki. And Haghani is happy about it. “After years of steamed colors, spring 2025 is finally the year in which men will take colorful prints and color in general.”
