National Level Hifzul Koran competition price in Magura held

Magura, February 4, 2025 (BSS) – With the slogan “Let us change the country, let’s change the world”, today the award and certificate distribution ceremony of a hift quran competition was held at the national level in the Auditorium of Magura Parnanduali Model Mosque. Cultural center that builds up the establishment of a new Bangladesh.

A total of 36 hafizs took part in the competition in three groups of four upazilas of the district. Among them, three participants, three from each group, have qualified for the Hiftz Koran competition at the division level.

The deputy commissioner Md. Ohidul Islam was present at the event as the main guest at Muhammad Mojib Ullah, deputy director of the Magura Islamic Foundation.

The main guest emphasized that the memorization of the Holy Koran was a profound responsibility, and those who have completed HIFZ are really blessed. He noticed that the Koran not only serves to memorize it, but also to implement it in everyday life. Such competitions, he added, inspired the younger generation to pursue Islamic knowledge and to promote morally upright, ideal citizens.

Muhammad Mojib Ullah said that there is no alternative to Koranian education to spread the glorious message of Islam. Hafizs are the carriers of the Koran, and it is our duty to ensure their appropriate respect and their necessary opportunities.

Additional deputy commissioners Mahbubul Haque, Officials of the Magura Islamic Foundation, teachers from various Madrasas, parents and respected guests were present.

At the end of the ceremony, prices and certificates were distributed among the winners.
