The number of fatalities at the Columbine High School increases almost three decades later

Denver – Almost 26 years later, the massacre of the Columbine High School officially called for a different life.

The Coroner’s Office by Jefferson County, in a newly completed autopsy report, decided last month the death of Anne Marie Hochhalter, a 43-year-old who was paralyzed at the 1999 shootout.

Hochhalter died of sepsis with complications from paraplegia due to two gunshot wounds that served as a “significant factor”, wrote Dr. Dawn B. Holmes, a forensic pathologist in the forensic doctor’s office, in the 13-page report.

Holmes’ decision that “the type of death is best classified as murder” means the number of fatalities from April 20, 1999, increases the shootout at school to 13 students and a teacher. The two murderers have committed suicide.
