The teenagers of M Elbourne were in tears and parents claim that they are hundreds of dollars after a local debut business was closed on the back of a number of symptoms without warning.

A Victoria spokesman shared with 9News.com.au confirmed that the police had been called after a suspected slump and that the investigation was examined.

On March 11, the business on its now deleted Instagram announced that it had “experienced two burglaries in the past few months” and was forced for “security reasons”.

Post also alluded to “harmful rumors” that circulated through the business.

However, customers claim that these “rumors” are legitimate complaints about Addison Rose Deb dresses and his owner Jessica Arzanov.

Many claim dresses they ordered a year ago and the repeated attempts to contact the owner for updates and reimbursements remained unanswered.

Addison Rose Deb dresses refused to comment on when they were contacted by 9News about these allegations.

Melbourne Mother Justine ordered debutant dresses for two of her daughters in July 2024 and said she was finished within 12 weeks.

The first dress arrived in December. According to Justine, the second never appeared.

She claims that she had contacted Arzanov and visited the business several times by January and February and claims that she has always returned.

When it became clear that the dress that she ordered would not arrive in time for the event of her daughter, they chose a new dress that Arzanov allegedly arrived in early March.

But when Justine’s husband collected it last week, he got an rude shock.

“He rang me and said: ‘Justine, the shop is closed. Everything is locked up,” said Justine to 9
News.

“I thought ‘f – k it. I only turn it out on Facebook.”

Numerous other parents had reached their own symptoms within an hour after their experience.

Justine claims that Arzanov called her soon afterwards and said the shop had been broken in, but the daughter’s daughter was broken down to her house.

“This is impossible. She doesn’t have our address,” she says.

“Arzanov has to be held accountable. If you cannot get the stock, give people your reimbursements.”

She called for a refund that she has received since then.

Another mother, Kate, had to walk through her bank, around the 500 dollar deposit, which she took last year for her daughter, which should be ready in six to eight weeks.

When it didn’t arrive on time, she went in stock. She claims Arzanov told her that the dress was finished in two weeks.

“I waited the two weeks and called the shop. No answer,” said Kate to 9News.

She followed again last week and claims that Arzanov told her that the dress was “on the way”.

A few days later the business closed. The dress has still not arrived.

Kates Bank refunded her $ 500, but other families do not remain in their pockets.

A mother who spoke to 9News under the condition of anonymity is still waiting for a reimbursement of 1,300 US dollars for a dress that she ordered for her daughter in May 2024.

Almost a year after ordering the dress, it has still not arrived and the mother claimed that she had spent in the past few weeks to fight a refund.

“I really need this money because we are really not in our pockets now,” she said, naming the situation as a “nightmare” and the behavior of the business “outrageous”.

A former Addison Rose Deb employee, who worked there from June to July 2024, dresses 9news that the employees knew that some clothes would not appear in time.

She claimed that this happened when the shop did not pay any supplier invoices, so that suppliers would not send the clothes. This was not communicated to customers.

“Every Saturday morning, at 10 a.m., we had mothers on the door to get in and try to get a reimbursement of a dress,” she said. 

After bad experiences with Addison Rose -Deb dresses, some customers turned to Paula Parra, which belongs to the Parra dresses 5 km.

Parra said 9News that girls “week after week” appeared crying over missing clothes.
