Authorities are investigating after a pedestrian was killed in Huntingdon

HUNTINGDON, Tenn. – A pedestrian was killed in Huntingdon on Saturday. This happened at the traffic light next to Walmart and a nearby gas station.

According to Huntingdon Police, the Tennessee High Patrol is investigating this case. We spoke with the victim’s son, who was with her that day, and told us that because of the investigation into the first accident, law enforcement did not allow him to touch his mother or her belongings.

He said police told him they had questioned the driver, but no reason was known at this time.

“It was so sudden that I didn’t expect anything like this and it’s really hard to sit here after your father passed away. Just appreciate the people you love for now, because in no time they will be gone,” said Samuel Gregory, son of the victim.

This is an ongoing investigation and we will provide you with further details as they become available.
