As 2024 draws to a close and major tours come to an end, Memphis will experience another month of quality concerts and shows in November.

The upcoming entertainment calendar is filled with a mix of artists including ’90s hip-hop greats and contemporary rap stars, homegrown pop titans and local Americana favorites, well-known comedians and folk legends, and a festival that features some of the highlights current events in the city – and emerging talent.

Here are 10 shows you shouldn’t miss in November.

Bone Thugs-N-Harmony: November 7, Minglewood Hall

Hit hip-hop group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony makes a rare appearance in Memphis this month with a show at Minglewood Hall. On November 7, the Cleveland rappers will perform their ’90s classics – including “Thuggish Ruggish Bone,” “Tha Crossroads” and more – during a headlining performance at the Midtown venue. Rod Wave with Moneybagg Yo and more: November 9, FedExForum

Rapper Rod Wave brings his national tour to Memphis for a show at FedExForum on November 9th. The Florida MC, who released his sixth album “Last Lap” in early October, will headline a multi-act program that will also include chart-topping Bluff City rapper Moneybagg Yo. Other artists set to perform include Toosii, Lil Poppa, Dess Dior and Eelmatic. Tickets: $96-$382; go to Ticketmaster.com.

Valerie June: November 9, Germantown Performing Arts Center

West Tennessee native and former Memphian Valerie June returns to the Mid-South for a concert at the Germantown Performing Arts Center. The Grammy-nominated Nov. 9 show comes as she reconnects with her Bluff City roots. Last spring in June, the queen of Stax Records, Carla Thomas, teamed up with the students of the Stax Music Academy for a cover of the song by Pops Staples, the patriarch of the Staple Singers. The song “Friendship,” which originally appeared on Staples’ posthumous 2015 collection Don’t Lose This, was released to mark Mavis Staples’ 85th birthday. This song followed the June release of “High Note,” another collaboration with the Stax Music Academy students. June will headline GPAC as part of the venue’s Center Stage series. Judy Collins: November 13, Halloran Center

The Halloran Center downtown presents “An Evening with Judy Collins” on Nov. 13. This special, intimate show with the legendary, Grammy-winning singer-songwriter. Over the course of her six-decade career, Collins — known for signature hits like “Both Sides Now,” “Send in the Clowns” and “Someday Soon” — has continued to make important music, including her most recent album, 2022’s “Spellbound.” . Thelma and the Sleaze: November 14, Growlers

Nashville hard rock band Thelma and the Sleaze will be back in the Bluff City this month with a show at Growlers. The long-running Southern fem scuzz punk rock band led by Lauren “LG” Gilbert has become Memphis favorites over the years with their high-energy show and riff-packed songs. Craig Ferguson: November 14, Minglewood Hall

Comedian and TV personality Craig Ferguson will be in town for a performance at Mingelwood Hall. The Scottish actor and funnyman is bringing his Pants on Fire Tour to the Midtown venue. The longtime “Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson” host and Grammy-nominated Peabody and Emmy Award winner will deliver a standup set on November 14th. Tickets: $39-$129; go to Ticketmaster.com.

Jim Lauderdale & The Game Changers: November 19, Lafayette’s Music Room

Veteran Nashville singer-songwriter Jim Lauderdale returns to the 901 for a show at Lafayette’s Music Room in Overton Square. Lauderdale – one of the Americana scene’s most respected and critically acclaimed artists – will perform with his band The Game Changers, comprised of a crew of top Music City pilots including violinist and singer extraordinaire Lillie Mae. Bluff City Fest: November 20, The Green Room at Crosstown Arts

The annual Bluff City Fest takes place on November 20th and celebrates the city’s musical heritage and future as the next wave of Memphis musicians take the stage, showcasing the dynamic talent of the University of Memphis’ Rudi E. Scheidt School of Music . Eight bands will present a dynamic mix of genres, from rap and contemporary rock to pop, blues and jazz. Justin Timberlake: November 23, FedExForum

After playing a special intimate show at the Orpheum in January To promote his sixth studio album, Everything I Thought It Was, Memphis-born pop star Justin Timberlake is heading back to the Bluff City for a much larger concert this month. Timberlake’s tour, his first in five years, has performed well in 2024, and he will close out the year with a second hometown performance on Nov. 23 at the FedExForum downtown as part of the “Forget Tomorrow World Tour.” Tickets: $65-$347; go to Ticketmaster.com.

Nikki Glaser: November 23, Orpheum

Funnywoman Nikki Glaser has made a name for herself with her acerbic brand of comedy and will bring this no-holds-barred standup act to the stage at Downtown’s Orpheum this month. Glaser — who hosts a trio of high-profile podcasts in addition to her hit comedy specials and hard-hitting gigs — is on the road as part of her Alive and Unwell Tour, which stops in Memphis on November 23rd.
