Lamar Jackson still isn’t practicing for the Ravens

Lamar Jackson will not practice for the second straight day on Thursday as the Ravens continue to prepare for their game against the Denver Broncos.

Jackson was listed on Wednesday’s injury report with a back/knee issue, although head coach John Harbaugh said it was just a “rest day.”

“He played great and we still have a lot of football ahead of us,” Harbaugh said. “We have a game, a quick game and another big game ahead of us, so today was justified.”

After the Ravens play the Broncos, it quickly turns to Thursday Night Football against the Bengals, followed by an AFC North battle with the first-place Steelers.

The Ravens will also be without three defensive linemen for Thursday’s practice: Travis Jones (ankle), Broderick Washington (knee) and Brent Urban (concussion). Washington held back on Wednesday. Michael Pierce (calf) was placed on injured reserve earlier this week.

Baltimore’s only healthy defensive lineman on the 53-man roster is Nnamdi Madubuike. Baltimore signed veteran nose tackle Josh Tupou back to the practice squad this week.

The Ravens had cornerback Arthur Maulet (neck) and rookie running back Rasheen Ali (ankle) back on the field. Cornerbacks Marlon Humphrey (knee) and Nate Wiggins (shoulder/illness) practiced for the second day in a row.
