VfB Stuttgart: For up to 25,000 fans: VfB women should get their own stadium

The VfB Stuttgart women’s team is aiming for promotion to the second league next year, and in the medium term it should be the first. The first plans for their own stadium are also being developed.

On the last matchday of this calendar year, the women of VfB Stuttgart once again impressively underlined their strength. Eintracht Frankfurt’s second team was sent off with a score of 11-0. That means first place in the Oberliga Süd at the end of 2024. Second league with a clear course. If coach Heiko Gerber’s team succeeds in marching through from the fourth division to the lower house of the Bundesliga, the goals formulated when VfB’s own women’s department was founded in 2021 would be exceeded.
