Dexter looks completely different now

Only recently we have over the long-awaited comeback of Suits reported. It’s not just the legal series that will soon be making its TV comeback. This means fans can get together before Christmas Eve the return of Dexter I’m happy.

A diverse project is currently being built around the Bay Harbor Butcher. While filming hasn’t even started for an upcoming project, there is now the first moving image material for the prequel series. Reason enough to take a look at Dexter Morgan’s backstory.

When is Dexter: Original Sin coming?

The starting signal for Dexter: Original Sin is on December 13, 2024 planned. In this country, the prequel to the cult series is offered via the streaming service Paramount Plus. Most recently the platform was through publications like the spinoff series Knuckles appeared.

Original Sin tells us the back story of Dexter, but the TV series shouldn’t play a minor role in future projects either. At least that’s what the trailer suggests. Aside from the story, what stands out is the casting. Ultimately, it was decided not to cast the well-known Michael C. Hall in the role of a younger Dexter Morgan.

Who plays young Dexter?

Instead, Patrick Gibson will play the man in charge in the series. And if you take a look at the YouTube comments under the trailer, you seem to have made a good choice. Instead of cynical complaints, there is actually a lot of praise for the casting.

Alex Shimizu in particular is often celebrated in the comments for his portrayal of Vince Masuka. “Young Masuka is perfect, that giggle was spot on“, for example, is a comment under the trailer. All in all, people seem to be looking forward to the pre-Christmas return of Dexter on Paramount Plus.
