Roman Josi is still on a high: The Nashville Predators defender from Bern scored twice against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Saturday night. These are his goals four and five from the last four games.

However, their captain’s brace wasn’t enough for Nashville to win. Tamap’s Brayden Point won the game with his goal to make it 3-2 in overtime, adding another loss to the Predators. It is already the seventh defeat in the last nine games.

Hischier and Meier meet

In addition to Roman Josi, Nico Hischier and Timo Meier also met on Saturday night. The two Swiss in the service of the New Jersey Devils equalized the game against the Detroit Red Wings 2:2 and 3:3 respectively. Defenseman Jonas Siegenthaler was on the ice for almost 20 minutes in the Devils’ 5:4 win.

Pius Suter also had a successful evening: The Zurich native recorded two assists in his Vancouver Canucks’ 4-3 overtime victory over Buffalo.
