Lucknow: In the latest development after the Sambhal Masjid violence, the district administration has issued an order banning entry of outsiders in the district till December 10. The order was implemented to maintain law and order following the violence as part of a court-ordered mosque investigation. The order was particularly issued after a Samajwadi Party delegation was arrested on its way to Sambhal on Saturday.

Reacting to the development, SP leader Akhilesh Yadav criticized the BJP government and accused it of poor governance. The saffron party retaliated saying that the violence in the district took place because of “criminals protected by the Samajwadi Party”.
