Parking changes for late night shoppers in Guernsey

Parking time restrictions have been changed to make it easier for people to enjoy festivals in the city of Guernsey.

The States of Guernsey announced that from Saturday until January 7, 2025, the number of two-hour parking spaces in St Peter Port will be extended to three hours.

The government said 114 spaces in North Beach had changed, as well as 145 spaces in Albert and 98 in Crown Piers.

The 19 three-hour parking spaces on the Havelet Bay side of the Model Yacht Pond have been converted to 10-hour parking spaces to “increase capacity for those who work in the city,” the states added.
