SThere has been a museum in Korneuburg for 160 years, although always in different locations. The museum has been located in the former Austro-Hungarian Tröpferlbad since 1974 and is run by the museum association. That was a reason to celebrate.

The museum association invited people to the Korneuburg City Museum to celebrate the 50th anniversary at the site of the former Tröpferlbad. Numerous visitors such as Mayor Christian Gepp, Deputy Mayor Bernadette Haider-Wittmann, Member of the National Council Andreas Minnich, City Councilor Martin Peterl, Sonja Guseck and former “shipyard workers” spent a cozy evening with a rustic buffet as well as punch and cocktails. In her speech, chairwoman Melanie Lopin thanked everyone who keeps the museum alive and is optimistic about the future of the museum and the association.
