Stage 4 cancer!

Taylor Deanne Roy is only 32 years old – and seriously ill. For years she suffered from extreme fatigue and itchy skin. The Canadian thought she “just” had skin eczema. But there is much more to it.

“When I found out I had cancer, it was like the whole world around me stopped.”

“I struggled with itchy skin for three years, which was discovered to be follicular eczema,” Taylor Deanne Roy of Edmonton, Canada, tells NeedToKnow. “For two years I was extremely tired and out of shape, but I thought it was just part of getting older.” But then more come Symptoms added. Here too she thinks that the skin disease is behind it.

When she got one in September 2024 big lump on her neck discovered, she decides to see another doctor, who immediately carries out an ultrasound examination.

A month later she received the message that pulled the rug out from under her feet: “I received this on October 2nd of this year.” Diagnose Hodgkin lymphoma in the fourth stage, which had spread to my lungs and the bones of my spine.” Roy says emotionally: “The moment I found out I had cancer, it was as if the whole world around me stopped. “For a few minutes I felt like nothing was real.”

Hodgkin’s lymphoma is a malignant disease of the lymphatic system. Roy is in stage IV because her cancer or metastases have spread to distant areas of her body.
