Tragic death in Turkey: Tourist (20) falls in the elevator shaft in the hotel

Tyler Kerry (20) was on vacation with his girlfriend and his older parents in Antalya, a well-known tourist metropolis in Turkey. A terrible accident occurred in the hotel where he was staying with his family. Tyler fell into an elevator shaft and died as the “Daily Mail“ reported.

His family suspected that he had pressed the elevator button and walked through the open door without the elevator being there. “We believe he fell around 4 a.m. because he had just sent messages to family members,” his uncle is quoted as saying.

In order to finance the repatriation of Tyler’s body to the UK, a GoFundMe-Page set up. “We are all deeply shocked,” his uncle writes. “Tyler’s mother, Rachael, is at home looking after her two youngest sons. They really want to travel to Turkey and bring Tyler home. Any financial support during this difficult time will be gratefully accepted on behalf of the family.” The campaign has so far raised around £4,200 (€5,000).

Tourist (22) dies after falling from balcony while on holiday in Turkey

After the fall, the seriously injured man was immediately taken to hospital.
