Donna Kelce became a celebrity in her own right thanks to her son Travis’ relationship with Taylor Swift. Now she tried her hand at being a film star.

If US singer Taylor Swift (34) actually ties the knot with her current boyfriend, American football star Travis Kelce (35, Kansas City Chiefs), his mother Donna Kelce (72) would probably be the most famous mother-in-law in the world. Until then, she is obviously enjoying herself to the fullest, getting a little of the spotlight in which the celebrity couple is romping around.

The proximity to the blonde pop princess has even given her guest roles in two Christmas films on the US broadcaster “Hallmark Channel”. One of those films “Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story”celebrates its TV debut today, November 30th, another one entitled “Christmas on Call” was already broadcast recently. The fact that “Holiday Touchdown” has a connection to American football is coming. It’s a topic that the athlete’s mother is of course very familiar with. “There were so many fantastic veterans of Hallmark films, and I really enjoyed learning from them all,” she says. Many scenes in the film “Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story” were filmed at the football stadium in Kansas City, where she watched the brilliant career of her son Travis from the stands for many years. In the film, Donna Kelce plays the manager of a restaurant.

Before the film flickered on screens in the USA this evening, the celebrity mom already watched “Christmas on Call” with her own grandchildren. As she tells the magazine, they couldn’t get enough of it. “They kept saying, ‘Play it back, play it back! We want to see DeeDee!’ That was really funny.'”
